Boxing is a combat sport in which two people today wearing protective gloves throw punches at each other for a predetermined set of time in a boxing ring. On the highest levels of the sport, boxing is a harmonious blend of speed, explosive energy, and endurance. If you are looking to develop cardiovascular strength, coordination, and mental toughness, boxing is the sport for you. Classic (Western) Boxing is a single of the funnest and most efficient ways to get and remain in shape. In our Level 1 classes, students will learn standard combinations, appropriate boxing stance, and standard footwork.
